True Vintage 1950's-1960's Snakeskin Shoes Rockabilly Heels mod retro buckle hip - $38 - (Jackson, MS)

Stunning pair of true vintage 1950's / 1960's snakeskin women's heels! Brand is Citations Soft-steps. In great vintage condition. Size inside is either marked 8 1/2 AA or 9 1/2 AA. In one shoe it looks like 8 and the other 9. They measure 10 inches, measured heel to toe on the bottom and 3" wide at widest point. I checked a vintage size chart and it converts to an 8 1/2 to 9 1/2. They have a side buckle front and it works, but they are really slip-ons - there is a thick elastic insert underneath the buckle so you don't have to unbuckle to put them on. The interiors are clean and in good condition. The interior shoe liners buckle up a bit in the back. The soles have lots of wear left in them. The snakeskin is in beautiful condition. The color is a little yellowish toward the very front - it looks natural. In natural light you probably wouldn't notice, but in really strong bright light like I use to photograph you can see the darkening. These are really lovely vintage shoes.
