Set of 4 Vintage Antique Berry/Rice Buckets Hand Painted With Berry Images - $395 - (East Dubuque, IL)

This listing is for a beautiful set of 4 very old antique rice/berry buckets that have been adapted into a wonderful set of hanging containers. Three out of the four buckets have dovetailed joints on the corners. The original berry buckets had nicks & scuffs and scratches and all kinds of "cool" patina. They most likely date back to the 1920's, possibly earlier. Wrought iron clasps and handles were added. Each has two individually hand painted berry images. The images are on opposite sides of each bucket. One is done with blueberries, one is done in strawberries, one in cherries, and one in rasberries. These could actually be used in your garden, or use them for decoration inside your home or garden shed or greenhouse...they'd be perfect displayed in a nice bright well lit windowsill. Wherever you put them, they really are gorgeous! Each Bucket stands approximately 5" tall and 10" with the handles in the up position. On top they are 7 to 7 1/2" square and they taper to approx 5 1/4" wide on the bottom. The brackets you see are not included but could be purchased seperately. These will be very carefully packaged and shipped quickly. Most likely via FedEx. A tracking number will be provided the same day they ship.
