Vintage Conn French Mellophone Circular Alto Horn 1919 - $169 - (Marquette, KS)

I'm not a horn player so feel free to add any info you may have so I can post it. I believe this is a vintage 1919 Conn circular Alto Horn or a mellophone. The serial number is 167498 which puts it as manufactured in 1919 according to the Conn serial number date list. The horn comes with two mouthpieces and a music holder. The valves all have the peal caps and move up and down. All four of the slides work. The finish is well-worn. Check out the photos to see the general condition of the horn. The case is rough but the latches all work. The main latch is sticky but functions. I'm selling this as found at a farm sale, so it needs a good cleaning.
