ANTIQUE GERMANY STEIFF TEDDY BEAR c1907 Offering an irresistible 12" German Steiff teddy bear wearing an antique checkered outfit with a vintage bow. Not much to say except this is a very nice early bear with a very sweet expression. His photos will do most of the talking! He is a good, solid bear with no sagging or any problems. He is 5-way jointed and stuffed with excelsior and with black floss stitched nose and mouth and black shoe-button eyes. He is clean with no odors. His original pads have small holes on them in areas–see photos. He retains a good amount of his mohair...approx. 85% and has thinning in areas around his body, but no unsightly bald patches. He no longer retains his ear button. This bear is a real cutie and is sure to make his new owner very happy to have him! Please see all 12 photos that describe this teddy best!
