Early Civil War Revolutionary War Metal Banded Wooden Drum Canteen. Inscribed Circles on Sides. Measures 5 3/4" x 9 3/4". Unsure if finish is original , but has great color and patina. One side in marked what looks to be Co. 11 the other side is marked what looks like CNS possibly owners initials, really not sure. See Photo's. Canteen has wear, warpage and shrinkage as expected. Appears to be made of chestnut or oak. A Great Looking Canteen. Guaranteed to be authentic. Being sold as is, as found in untouched condition. See photo's for description and condition.
