Vintage Studio Art Pottery Bowl Fish Form Handles Swimming Fish Decoration #2450 - $125 - (Hinton, WV)

I purchased this Studio Art Pottery Bowl with Fish Form Applied Handles and Swimming Fish Decoration to inner Bowl area from an older lady. I have not been able to identify the maker. It has a number 2450 on the bottom. The bowl feels like very good pottery with a nice smooth matt finish. The bottom is rust red and it has a small circle foot. The inside is a mix of blue, grey and a lighter red. The swimming fish and leaves are painted fine white lines. The fish form handles have incised lines and are painted with the same colors. There are small lines around the lip of the bow. This has been hand made and is very pleasing to look at. It measures a little more than 9 1/4" from handle to handle and a little more than 8" otherwise. It is about 2 1/2" tall. Appears to have been used for display only. This is a heavy nice item.
