I offer for sale this Antique cast metal desk lamp stamped Jos L Shoemaker Phila Pa. USA. This lamp is over 100 years in age. Manufactured by Joseph L. Shoemaker who first established his company in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1884 and continued until 1900. Lamp is in overall good condition....works well....some paint loss on metal shade and around switch. Bracket is loose on one side under shade see photo # 7. Original pen holder is still in place with no damage. Please see all photos as they are part of my description and speak the loudest on condition. Selling just like I purchased it.
