1930's Antique 6-Light Markel Chevron Slip Shade Chandelier for Restoration This listing is for a very nice 1930's Antique 6-Light Markel Chevron Slip Shade Chandelier for Restoration. This is a Farm-Fresh-Find. We are selling it exactly as we found it. This would make for an excellent restoration project for a number of reasons. The bronze finish of the fixture is original and in good condition. The center shade is present and free from chips or cracks. It includes 4 of the 5 original slip shades (all free from chips and cracks). There is however a mildew or something on the inside of the shades as you can see. It almost looks like someone tried to paint them. But this would easily strip right off and the frost finish is in good condition. The light is being sold as working however it still has the old cloth wires. The ceiling canopy is present however it is missing the finial. Also, the missing shade is currently available on eBay, just simply search "Markel Chevron" to find them. So this would be an easy lamp to get back to 100%.
