I am selling my RED Pro 17-50mm zoom in PL mount. f2.8 / T2.9. Amazing 4" close focus from front of lens - 11" from film plane. I am the second owner. This is my personal lens - never rented. This is the last version manufactured by RED (v2 - 114mm front diameter) . It is known for much significantly better mechanics than the earlier 18-50mm. The lens has been completely rebuilt by the RED Service Center in LA. Upon purchase I sent it to RED for a full service and internal cleaning. They were not satisfied with the cleaning of the front element so I had it replaced. The lens has been re-greased and all mechanics checked for alignment. The exterior is pristine. The lens is perfect for handheld & Steadicam shooting. I am including a new Bright Tangerine 114mm wide angle clip-on rubber lens hood with 4x5.65 filter stage. (purchased new for $600.00 at AbleCine). The lens has been used on only 2 films. You will not find a RED 17-50mm zoom anywhere in this condition. Asking $4,700.00 or best offer.
