AKAI GX-400D REELTO REEL TAPE DECK - $600 - (Fallston, MD)
Akai GX400D. I don't normally deal with tape recorders but I agreed to help a neighbor sell her deceased father's collection of reel to reel units assuming they were all working, ready for display. When I received them I found they all had notes attached stating what repairs they needed. The note with this one said "Repair right side tension arm, brake tension adjustment (both sides), replace lamp in forward/play switch actuator". That's all I know about the recorder.
