Audio Research SP 8 tube preamplfier - $1,500 - (Portland, OR)

Selling this Audio Research SP 8 tube preamplfier,this is a very nice preamplifier in my system,the SP-8 has a cult following for not only it's collectable status, its performance and is really coveted. !!!!!! SP8, and possible other older SP units, do not have the warm up muting protection that modern pre-amps incorporate, thus you need to let the SP8 warm up 3-5 minutes to eliminate the potential thud from damaging your power amp, it's not your DNA Amp. I turn mine on, leave it in mute for at least 3 minutes, and then take it out of mute. This way there's no problem.
