Vintage Hammond BC organ w/ bench, pedals & HR-40 tone cabinet - No Reserve - $785 - (Terre Haute, IN)

Here is a classic Hammond BC organ in a walnut cabinet with bass pedals, solid bench and Cherry wood Hammond HR-40 tone/speaker cabinet. This organ is similar to the Hammond B-3 but has a chorus draw bar. The B-3 doesn't have chorus. There is a company called Trek II that makes an easy percussion add-on kit for $279 so you could have both the percussion of the B-3 plus chorus. There are a few scratches on the side of the organ cabinet and underneath the lid but are unnoticeable from a distance. There is a water stain under the lid caused by a potted plant.(see photo). The walnut bench and pedals are in good shape. The organ works but I have no way to demonstrate it since the HR-40 tone cabinet is not working so I have to sell the organ as is. The tone cabinet problem might be a bad tube, but I don't know. The HR-40 tone cabinet has (9) 10 inch speakers and (2) 12 inch speakers with a large 40 watt amplifier and a very cool 4 foot long reverb spring assembly. The tone cabinet could be repaired or parted out. The organ would sound great with a Leslie speaker. Organ weighs around 350+ lbs and the tone cabinet weighs about 180 lbs so this auction is for pickup only! Please bring a truck and a pair of professional organ loaders or a couple of weight lifters!
