1933 Schubert Baby Grand Piano - $500 - (Scranton, PA)
Schubert baby grand piano, serial #152497, built in 1933. Schubert Piano Co. est. 1882 535-541 E. 134th St, NY, NY By the mid 1920s the company had been incorporated with Peter Duffy as president, and was located at Fifth Ave and 139th St., NY. Lester Piano Co. took control of Schubert about 1932 and discontinued the name in 1937. My daughter played this daily until she received a new piano for Christmas. Was last tuned in the fall of 2015 and annually before that. Currently in need of a tuning. Wood is in great condition. No broken keys. Some minor chips on the Ivory as seen in the pictures. One tuning pin doesn't hold well so the tuner muted it the last time he was here. I'm located less then a mile off exit 182 on I-81 in Scranton, Pa. Will consider delivery within 100mi for an additional $350 depending on location details - please email for details.
