C1800 Walnut 18"W Miniature Blanket Chest Bracket Feet Pennsylvania or Southern - $1,900 - (Lewes, DE)

Good clean little chest. 18" wide; 10 3/4" high; 10 1/2" deep. Nice profile to the feet, which are in wonderful condition due in part to the really nice blocking. The bottom board is yellow pine. It could be Pennsylvania, or it could be Southern. The construction of the feet might be a clue for someone. Very good condition. Proper left hinge is a bit loose. Small repaired breaks to lid, visible in photos. Lock has been patched, only evidence of this on the front is the patch to the keyhole. The vertical glue blocks are missing from the back feet.
