Lindy, Jr., a Robert Raikes Original Wooden Faced Aviator Bear - $100 - (Panama City, FL)
This is Lindy, Jr., a Robert Raikes Original Wooden Faced Bear (produce in 1985) representing the famous aviator Charles Lindbergh. He has cream colored fur, brown eyes, a flyboy jacket, and a dashing white scarf topped off with goggles. His legs are jointed and he stands approximately 12" tall and is approximately 9 1/2" when sitting. His face and feet are hand-carved from wood and his serial number is etched on the bottom of his right foot. He is in excellent vintage condition. This bear is a Limited Edition that comes with a Certificate of Authenticity showing Number zzz 8,684 / 10,000 ... and a Registration Certificate. The tags have never been removed. The original box is included. This doll was previously purchased by a private buyer in a non-smoking home. The doll has been taken out of the box but it is still new and has never been played with. The box shows typical shelf wear with a small tear at the opening tab. There are very few of these dolls still available, anywhere. My shipping price does not include international sales.
