This is an 18th Century Polonaise Style Gown, Made in a Beautiful Gold Damask "[silk cloth with reversed pattern on the back side"],in a medium heavy weight .The Gown has Beautiful ruffled sleeves that match the petticoat and scarf. The scarf can be used ex cent the gown in many ways, you can get some ideas from the pictures.The Petticoat is a lovely soft full Taffeta "[fine smooth silk with a gloss:]in a beautiful floral print that complements the gown. The Gown can be worn up or down in the back, just by tying already attached ribbons. The Gown size measurements are, Bust 42" Waist 39". The upper arm Biceps size is 16". Bust and Waist can be adjusted 2 inch smaller, and 1 inch larger with pin front fasteners which come with your gown. The Petticoat length is 40", and can be hemmed to the size you prefer. Hand wash , Cold water, Line dry, and iron if needed or, We also recommend this product, "DRYEL", That is in the photo section of the listing, for washing your garment. It takes 30 min. In the dryer, and is very gentle on the fabric. The Polonaise Style Dress was most popular during the French and Indian and Revolutionary War periods.
