Steuben Art Deco ACB Rosaline/Alabaster Vase Shape #7444 "Greta" Pattern - $1,200 - (Milwaukee, WI)

Steuben vase highly rare acid cutback rosaline/alabaster hand blown and into shape #7444 then acid cut into the art deco pattern named "Greta" of stylized roses very similar to the "Glasgow Rose", against an acid textured alabaster glass and rests on a glossy alabaster inverted saucer foot. There is a pic online at www.cardersteubenclub.org of a similar vase under shape #7444, the only example listed is in green jade over alabaster glass and is listed at 6" tall. Added info at this online site indicates under shape #7444 is that all vases made, were this same shape, with this pattern, "Greta". It is likely that there were not a lot of these vases, in this shape #7444 produced, so not many examples are in the hands of collectors, making it's existence far more rare. Vase is in excellent well preserved condition with no chips, fleabites, cracks or restorations. Height is 6.25" high, 3.25" wide, 2.75" wide at foot. Vase is unsigned. Information os shipping - I always pack glass very well and want buyer to understand that Handling cost includes insurance of the price paid through USPS Priotity mail.
