Antique HORSMAN Composition Mama Baby doll 22" BLUE EYED BEAUTY PRINCESS BEATRIX - $90 - (Reed Point, MT)
Offering a large 22" HORSMAN BLUE-EYED Princess Beatrix style baby...a very pretty doll!! Same doll head mold used as IDEAL'S Princess Beatrix baby. And, they look identical...Ideal also made a 22" Princess Beatrix. This baby's marked HORSMAN on back of her head. She's a lovely size to hold...feels like a real baby. BIG BLUE glass-like eyes...that give her a curious wide-eyed expression with her signature Horsman pursed baby lips. Her face is very nice, original paint and a nice sheen to her compo!! One slash brows, has "eye shadow", and nice THICK brown horsehair eyelashes!! A cute button nose with a small paint scuff on the very tip. Baby has a sweet coral colored mouth. She has very minimal crazing...most is contained to her left leg with a small area of paint wear on the outside of her left calf ...plse see photos, as this area is visible in them. This sweet old baby displays nicely and looks adorable playing with her Easter toys!! She's a great old doll in remarkably good shape for her age ~ not perfect, as is the case with most old dolls...but still has a lot of life left in her xo She has a very clean, evenly stuffed body...which has darkened a bit with age. NO ODORS and from my non smoking home. Non working crier. Some mending to her left leg at the seams. Baby will arrive wearing the outfit she is shown in...a new baby's t-shirt, a lovely antique FELTMAN baby's dress, which I purchased for her and what I believe could be, her original organdy doll bonnet ~~~ She's a sweet old thing and looking for a new home...perhaps she's the one you've been looking for...and will fit right into your doll family xo Yellow Easter rabbit toys are not included in auction...as they're photo props only.
