You are bidding on a TOUGH TO FIND, R-9 RARITY (AS LISTED 5 KNOWN IN DUNN, SCHILLING HOSKINS...BOOKS HIGHER IN LATEST NEV SPREADSHEET), & NICE SPECIMEN. old "good for" style trade token which actually is "GOOD FOR 12 1/2C IN TRADE" at a business called "HERMITAGE (SALOON...SCARCE "H" CUTOUT VARIETY)", which was located in old historic living ghost town of GOLDFIELD, NEVADATHIS IS A REALLY NICE SPECIMEN, MANY GOLDFIELD TOKENS BECAUSE OF SOIL CONDITIONS ARE "DUG AND UGLY", AND THIS IS A DOCUMENTED SALOON CIRCA 1906....THIS IS THE TOUGH TO FIND "H CUTOUT" HERMITAGE VARIETY.As most Nevada token collectors know....these old tokens from Goldfield are tough to find "un-dug"...mining camp tokens can be very sketchy....and for this token, this is a beautiful specimen. Recently bought a small collection of Goldfield tokens, this is a beauty...THIS IS A TOUGHER ONE TO FIND, BOOKS HIGHER IN LATEST NEVADA LISTINGI track historic prices on Nevada tokens, and this is one I have seen sell for $45-55 range on this token, love this historic living ghost town.The historic town of Goldfield goes back to early 1900s, and is considered a "living ghost town" today with a small population of 268 as compared to a peak population of 20,000-25,000 in the region in its heyday......This is a beautiful token from an iconic Nevada gold camp...and still an amazing place to visit today. ....REAL GOLDFIELD TOKENS ARE TOUGH TO FIND TODAY....Trade token is aluminum metal, round, about 29mm in size , and it displays very nicely.
