1950's KO (Japan) Tin Litho Wind-up Space Whale PX-3 Pioneer - Works Great - $499 - (Clarksville, VA)

Here is your chance to obtain one of the most sought after Japanese tin litho wind-up toys from the 1950's - the KO PX-3 Pioneer Space Whale!!!! Our example looks excellent with only a small amount of wear on the underside (see photo) and very minor spots here or there which show in our photos. This colorful toy is just so delightful and crazy!!! Watching it operate will make you laugh!! Using the built-in wind-up key on the side, the whale moves forward and then suddenly it opens its mouth wide, then closes it, and continues moving forward, etc. The sparking feature on the top "window" near the tail works sporadically. The metal wand at the top is actually an "on-off" switch. Such a colorful and whimsical tin toy with great lithography too. This toy does not have its box, but its condition is exceptional.
