Offered here for your consideration is a signed and dated, antique French silhouette of Charles X. It dates to the early 19th century. The silhouette is reverse painted on glass with a gilt back. It is signed and dated lower left below the image by Marc Beraud and dated 1825. The portrait is in overall good used estate condition with some exfoliation and cloudiness to the gilt mirrored back. The frame has slight indentations, light surface scratches and scuffing throughout, as well as other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
