This is an antique, Chokwe, hand carved, wood, African tribal dance wand / small scepter hand staff which is topped with a sitting figure meant to depict a Chokwe Mwanangana or chief who is playing a thumb piano which is an African musical instrument. Great rustic tribally made and used condition with some wear and two cracks which have been repaired indigenously.This antique Chokwe dance wand measures 18 inches long.
