Antique Carnival Ride Oak Wood Carved Horse Head Bench Carrousel Merry Go Round - $999 - (Chaffee, NY)
We have a Wonderful Old HEAVY Oak Wood Bench / Seat. We were told it came from an Old Carrousel / Merry Go Round Ride. Owner purchased this at an auction an this is what she was told, they had no other information on it. Not sure of the actual age or who made this great Bench. There are small Carved Wood Horse Heads on the Arms. The bench is 46" long, 29 3/4" wide by about 33" tall. The cushion is not original to the bench. The green material that covers the padding is worn and the tacks are loose / missing / pushed out, this would need replacing. The Bench is actually a light green paint that is worn (pic is not showing the green). Not sure if the back had a cushion or not. Please not all pictures for better description. This is heavy, would need a local pickup only. If you want this shipped you can arrange for shipping, we can help on our end if needed, this would have to be shipped freight.
