Lady Butterfly Silver Resin Statue by World Famous Street Artist Lady Aiko. Statue is from an edition of 10. I believe there was 5 color variants, each with an edition of 10. This was the first edition released. It was released a few months before the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant exploded in 2011. The statue is in Mint condition, 10 inches tall, made of plastic resin and produced by Tomenosuke. It comes with a signed COA. Only 10 made worldwide. This is one of the few that made it to the United States. Item is in mint condition (refer to pictures). I am also the original owner. My name will be given to the the winning bid. Aiko Nakagawa aka 'Lady Aiko' (b. 1975) Japan (resides in USA). Formally part of FAILE and apprenticed with artist Takashi Murakami. Along with Swoon, Lady Aiko is one of the leading female Street art figures. In 2005 she collaborated with fellow street artist Banksy for his film Exit Through the Gift Shop. In addition, she has collaborated with luxury brands. (Look it up, eBay won't allow me to reference the brands she has worked with).
