Product Description: This offering is for a fairly unique (and possibly) collectors' item. This is a set of new-old-stock Colnago branded glasses with a brown colored frame. Now let me be upfront and honest about these glasses in that I am not impressed with their functional utility or features. In other words, I do not view these as glasses should be worn or used in today's cycling environment. They appear quite old and while completely intact, I would consider them as cheaply made by today's standards. They are made from all plastic materials and quite flimsy (and I doubt the lenses incorporate any of today's highly technical protection characteristics). The most glaring example of this less than ideal production process is the fact that the plastic frame is not straight...meaning one side of the frame is mounted lower than the other side (so they would most likely "seat" crooked on someone's face). There are other problems, but it suffices to say any value in these glasses is in the novelty of them and possibly the fact that there are very few of them available (which may offer some attraction to collectors of all things Colnago branded). For what it is worth, there does appear to be a complete set of factory paperwork and a soft (cloth-like) case that also appears original. Listing Update...This is my last set of these glasses.
