Hello! The condition is NEW because these drives were never used from the factory aside from Lenovo loading their factory image (which is still installed on all of the drives). Up for sale is a lot of 75 (30 pictured) Hitatchi, Toshiba, or Seagate 7200RPM 2.5" 32MB disk cache hard drives. The reason the brands vary is because Lenovo uses different suppliers to fulfill their builds. The drives have very similar characteristics and are the THIN style (7MM). They come with metallic shielding. The laptops were deployed with SSDs and thus the 500GB drives saw no use. Each one was also tested working through windows disk manager only. I did not record any SMART information, nor did I receive SMART warnings when hooked up through a SATA interface (yes SMART was enabled!). If you have any questions, I'm here!
