Disneyland; scarce DL Hotel Children's pool postcard; unused; vintage Disney - $48 - (Williamsburg, VA)

This is a scarce early Disneyland Hotel larger postcard with a view of the Children's Pool. The serial number in the stamp box is 8ED-218. There is also the number C-537 along the left edge. There are two variations of this card each with identical serial numbers, same locations. The Nickel Tour book lists only the 'continental size' card with fluted edges as NT1165. This variation, not in the NT book is approx 5 7/8" by 5 1/8" with straight edges. It is affectionately referred to as NT1165a. This is a must have postcard in the Disneyland Hotel series. All early postcards tend to have some or all of the following; fading, discoloration, stains, corner dings, creases, album residue, etc. Please review the photos for condition.
