very old Chinese black Carved Ink Stone with writing box with contents - $650 - (Mount Prospect, IL)

when i bought the box i was told that it had a paper weight inside. after many years i found out it was a ink stone . it is carved with grape vines with grapes. there is a small animal on the front with a grape in its paw. inspect carefully it has some damage it looks the water well is under the vines
