Kynsey Waterseller of Seville Limited Edition Fountain Pen # 1/1 This magnificent writing instrument by Kynsey is a tribute to Diego Velazquez paintings, "The Waterseller of Seville". There were three paintings from this Spanish artist under this title and were created from 1618-1622. The painting originally resided in a Royal Spanish Collection but was stolen during the Napoleonic Wars. The Duke of Wellington was allowed to keep the painting after he won it in the Battle of Vittoria. The Duke of Wellington took the painting back to England with him. It still resides there today in what is now called the Apsley House. The "Waterseller of Seville" is widely considered the best of Velazquez Seville paintings. This fine fountain pen is a 1 of 1.
