Playpal doll - Joanie by Madame Alexander Vintage 1959 - $193 - (Locust Grove, GA)
Joanie has beautiful face coloring with no cheek or lip rubs and the blush is still on her ears. She has flirty hazel color eyes that work great with full long lashes. There are no splits, cracks or ink marks and only the tiniest few small scratches that come with age and the very faintest vertical lines on her legs from the manufacturer - none are noticeable. Her right heel has a slight indentation, but is not broken thru. She is a walker, and can still walk with you. Her hair is full and curly with no missing plugs, you can tell the bottom row in the back was never filled in at manufacture, but of course does not show. She is marked on back of neck Alexander 1959. She comes wearing a pink and white dress that buttons in the front for easy dressing. She has on new unders, pink lace socks that match her dress, and kids Striderite dress shoes. She is as near perfect as a 58 year old doll can be. Been in my collection for a long time; no odors and from a smoke free home. Letting her go to move to smaller place. My loss is your gain...She is heavy and large (36"), will ship the cheapest way possible.
