One(1) Bulb Oriental Lily Montezuma XLarge 18-20cm Beautiful Fragrant Red - $3 - (Eastford, CT)

This auction is for one (1) x-large Oriental Lily Bulbs of Montezuma. I believe you will think Montezuma prettier in person than in the pictures. If you would like a smaller quantity please feel free to contact me. These bulbs are fresh from Holland and ready to go in the ground (about 6" deep) and grow. They are an up facing flower and grow to around 4 feet in height. They bloom a bit earlier than some reds- about 100-110 days or around the 3rd week of July in zone 5. These xlarge bulbs are considered 18-20cm(many are 19cm) in circumference and should produce about 4-6 flowers on each stem the first year. The second year should produce 6-8 flowers per stem. Oriental lilies like a little afternoon shade especially in hotter climates. Ideally they also like a sandy loamy soil-that is the bulbs do not want to be overly wet. They are quite hardy for me here in zone 5(0-10 below) The picture of the bulbs is of the actual bulbs being sold. Some of the other photos are stock and some were from my garden.
