Currier & Ives Original Lithograph Marriage Certificate Civil War 1864 Moomaw DESCRIPTION: This stunning Currier & Ives hand-watercolored Lithograph print is from the 1860’s. The Marriage recorded is from 1864, of America Biggs (Briggs) and Nelson B Moomaw (Mumaw). Researched online and found 2 spellings for each last name. The colors are rich and bright, depicting the bride, groom and 2 witnesses. It is in an original wood frame with gold painted border, old (imperfect) glass (not chipped or cracked, just showing age imperfections as old glass does). It has a striped ribbon hanging device on the back, and the frame is wood backed for support. From Ross County Ohio. MEASURMENT: Print 13' X 17" -- Frame 16" X 20" CONDITION: The frame has some separation at the corners see close-ups. Some discoloration in upper left corner of print, and on edges, possibly cleanable, will leave that to the buyer and the experts. Please email questions.
