DESCRIPTION: Very cool serigraph by Chris Wollesen of Modesto, CA. Dated 1963 and numbered 3 of an edition of just 20. This is whimsically titled CRUSADER WITH THE KNIT STOCKINGS. Depicts a Christian Crusader from a medieval kingdom riding a horse into battle. Hard to find mid century modern artwork with a Christian theme. For those who've requested it, here ya go! The colors are great on this one! And the original wood frame is just awesome! Matches the colors of the print perfectly, probably painted by the artist. Tag on back gives artist and print info.
