Vintage 12 Faces Mexico Sterling Silver Bracelet 136 grams - $700 - (Cocoa Beach, FL)
These vintage mid 1970s Mexico Faces bracelets are rare. This one is very good, pre-owned condition with only 1 small scratch on a face which I have shown. I gently polished it. Total of 12 1" high faces make up this beautiful and striking vintage bracelet. Research finds that Los Castillo originally made this design in the 1950s. The panels were hinged differently but because the artists many times went to other silver shops, they carried designs with them. This one is modernist but also has an Art Deco flair to it with the stylized faces. Marked: SMM 925 TM 90 Mexico (see pic. 8) Approximate Dimensions: 2 1/4" Diameter 8" Length but I think will wear at about 7 1/2" because of the thickness and the panel design. 1" Width of each face Approximate Weight: 136 grams/ Mails priority only. Condition: USED, but in very beautiful vintage condition. - Bracelet shows some signs of age & use, but is gorgeous and fully functional.
