Redfish King Kayak Handcrafted in the U.S.A. cedar strip kayak. Cedar is encapsulated in premium fiberglass/epoxy resin (MAS resin) which has been top coated in a premium polyurethane topcoat with UV inhibitors (System 3). The composite construction results in a very strong but lightweight kayak. The selection of Alaskan yellow cedar and western red cedar with walnut accents results in a truly unique and beautiful kayak. The exterior layers of fiberglass are completely transparent which allows you to see the beauty of the wood underneath. The attached pictures do not do this kayak justice! The build includes a Redfish custom seat, and adjustable aluminum foot braces. The King is very fast, highly maneuverable, and very responsive to leaned turns. This new kayak is available now for $3500. A neoprene spray skirt and a cockpit cover are included in the purchase. Length overall - 17' 9" Waterline length - 15' 6" Maximum beam - 21-3/8" Waterline beam - 20-7/8" Weight approximately 38 lbs. Two water tight hatches plus a large day hatch.
