DESCRIPTION: Offered for your consideration is this wonderful vintage cut crystal decanter in the 'Melody' pattern (#2199) from Orrefors. The decanter has a multi-sided stopper, with a belt line of vertical cuts. Approximate measurements: 10.5" tall with stopper in place, 9" to the top of the neck, 5.25" at the widest portion, with a 3.25" diameter base that shows a ground and polished pontil. The stopper is 2.25". Both the interior of the decanter's neck and the stopper have been ground and polished to mate perfectly. The vertical cuts reflect the light nicely. We find this beauty to be in very good condition, noting as mentioned above, two small rubs on the slender neck which would not photograph well due to reflections. This is an extremely hard to find item which will be a great addition to your collection. DOMESTIC SHIPPING: Will ship FREE and INSURED to the lower 48 states only.
