Vintage MOTOCO Motometer Industrial Thermometer Steampunk RatRodlivesteam engine - $75 - (Rose Hill, KS)

This is a buy it now auction for a vintage live steam motometer MOTOCO industrial thermometer. I don't know much about this, it was in my dad's stuff and he was into live steam engines and railroad memorabilia . I'm guessing it came off of a steam tractor or a steam locomotive. I don't have any idea if it works but it does appear to be in good shape considering it is old. The glass is not broken, the paint has a few places worn off, the chrome on the attachment nut is in great shape.
