Vintage Indian Handmade Baby Basket From Estate Sale In some Indian tribes, babies were placed in baby baskets while their mothers worked. I don't know much about the basket. I was told that it is an original handmade Indian basket. Although I'm not sure what tribe, the people selling it told me it was the Band of Ojibwe? It is in good used vintage condition. As is normal with all used vintage items, you may find some imperfections. See pics. It measures approx. 21" long and 12" wide.
