This listing is for 45 coated wicks measuring 6 inches in length with 20 mm wick tabs. LX-14 wicks can be used for 2 inch diameter votive candles and 2-3 inch diameter container candles. LX wick is a specially braided flat wick which maintains a slight curl when burning. The curl moves the tip of the wick into the hottest part of the flame, which helps to minimize or eliminate carbon buildup (mushrooming), reduce smoking, and provide a 'self-trimming' effect, which creates a very stable and consistent flame. LX wicks are lead and zinc free. Always remember that wick-charts are only guides, and the only way to assure yourself that you are using the proper wick is to test, test and test.
