Antique pottery footwarmer Doulton & Lambert Limited 3 pt Bourne Denby England - $111 - (Laurel Hill, FL)

Antique 3 pint earthenware foot warmer "pig" . This one is marked on the top of the stopper"Doulton Lambert Co Limited " and on the end opposite the "snout" it is marked into the pottery "bourne denby england" 3 pt. Measures approx 11" from end of snout to opposite end and measures approx 4 1/2" from bottom to top of the arch on the ends. The stopper forms the center of a sunflower shaped design. The outside looks like a saltglaze to me but I cannot be sure of that. I have not taken the stopper off as it is very difficult . Not wanting to damage the original rubber seal I will leave that to the new owner's discretion. Doulton lambert went onto become Royal Doulton . This is an aged item. No damage noted in the way of chips, cracks, breaks. The glaze on the edges of the end opposite of the snout is bubbled in places but this was done during the manufacturing.
