You're bidding on a 9" flow blue dinner plate - reverse marked "Made In England For The cushman Furniture Co. attleboro, Mass." It features a scalloped-edge design showing the 15 States of the Union at the time of George Washington's presidency represented within a linked chain, with "MW" encircled in gold at center, an outward radiating sunbeam motive and a ribbon graphic with the words "Decus Et Tutamen Ab Illo". The design is a slightly modified tribute to the George Washington-era presidential China - the initials at center are Martha Washington's, as the set was a gift to her in 1796 from a Dutch trader. in very nice condition there is a firing flaw that I point out
