Pioneer SA 9100 and TX 9100 Tuner - $525 - (Monterey, TN)
Pioneer SA 9100 integrated amplifier and matching TX 9100 tuner in great condition. Both units are original and are working great. Over all appearance is fantastic, just a few minor blemishes. One of the meter lights is burnt out on the tuner and one switch is missing the end cap. The SA 9100 was Pioneer's best professional integrated amp and puts out 60 watts per channel. It features all stage direct coupled pure complementary OCL circuit resulting in a super wide bandwidth and distortion free power, a unique 3 stage direct coupled equalizer, twin stepped tone controls, and level set volume and loudness contour controls to adjust listening preference. Other features include 2-way tape duplicating and monitoring, 2 position high and low filters and 3 pairs of speaker output terminals. I have cleaned all the pots and switches and everything operates quietly. The TX 9100 tuner has an outstanding FM front end section with dual gate MOS FETs, 5 gang variable capacitor and 2 stage RF amplifiers. Phase linear ceramic filters are used in the FM IF section for excellent selectivity and phase characteristics, and a unique PLL MPX circuit that improves stereo separation. Special features include a pulse noise suppressor, 2 step FM muting switch, multipath output terminals, MPX noise filter, independent AM and FM output level controls, headphone output jack, dual meter tuning system and linear dial scale. Hard to find these in this good of overall condition. I've played these units for hours at a time and everything works as it should and the sound is great. As with all vintage electronics I can offer no warranty other than not DOA.
