7 Assorted Books, Some Religious- Stone- Campbell Movement - $50 - (Pekin, IL)
These books are in fair to good condition, Some published in 1800's. I remember growing up in Indiana, & went to the Christian Church down the street. I didn't realize at the time that there were 15 other groups from the Stone- Campbell Movement in town that shunned each other. It finally dawned on me that, " all wasn't well on the Disciple front." I didn't ask myself why there was a Church on every corner that were in competition with each other for their own survival. Of course, we wanted the sinners, (not us) come to us. We sure were not going after them. The Apostle Paul could get beat up all he wanted, but that wasn't for us. We leaned a lot more toward a younger Peter & were proud of it. What did Jesus expect, after all, we got baptized, and had fun at church camp.
