Original 1949 'Newspaper Frolic' program - SIGNED by Jack Benny, Dinah Shore... - $949 - (Warrensburg, MO)

Here is a very rare item. I have for sale an original vintage program that was printed for the 'Fifteenth Annual Newspaper Frolic', a gala event held on March 26, 1949 at the Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The headliners for this meeting of northern California newspaper workers were entertainers Jack Benny, Rochester (Eddie Anderson), Dinah Shore and George Montgomery (Mr. Montgomery was Dinah Shore's husband at that time). All four of these popular celebrities signed their names in ink on the left side of this program. In addition, the five members of Jack Benny's 'band' for the event ("Spike" Benny and His Hillbillies) have also signed this page in ink. They are Frank Remley - guitar, Charlie Bagby - accordion, Don Rice - bass, Wayne Songer - clarinet, and Sammy Weiss - drummer. The dimensions of the program (folded) are 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". I've set is a reasonable buy-it-now price for this amazing autographed item of American entertainment history. However, I'll always consider an offer too.
