1940 Leedy Vintage Elkhart WMP 4pc. Drum Set. I am the 2nd. owner and bought it from the original owners son when he passed years ago. The set all came together with matching stamps. No extra holes. Nickel/Chrome hardware is in excellent shape on all drums and hardware. Seams all tight. Modern heads fit on all drums. The bearing edges are all in excellent shape. The drums are- 14"x 28" Bass Drum. Stamp- 4003. Single tension 12 lugs. White interior. Original Leedy calfskin heads. 1 has a tiny pinhole. 1 inlay glued on 1 end. (see pic.) 1 cigarette burn in wrap 1/2"x 3/4". (extra mojo) 12" Length x 14" Diameter Floor Tom. Stamp- 3903. 14 lug (7 per side) separate tension. Mahogany interior. 2 mufflers. Key holder. 2 calfskins. All original parts. A beauty! 9"x 13" Ride Tom. Stamp- 40- 1 & 4- 40. 12 lugs. Separate tension. Mahogany interior. 2 mufflers. Key holder. 2 calfskins. All original parts. A beautiful drum! 6.5" x 14" Broadway Standard Snare Drum. Stamp- 4005. 16 lugs. Separate tension. White interior. 1 muffler. Broadway Standard 3rd series throw- off. All original except heads which are a non-played Vintage Remo Emperor on top and 60's Ludwig snare side. Excellent shape. Comes with a Leedy pedal/ Leedy spurs/ Leedy mallets. Snare stand/ Tom stand/ Hi- hat/ 2 hoop mounted cymbal stands/ Cowbell/ Woodblock & Holder/ External muffler/ Duplex key/ Vintage sticks/ Brushes/ Canvas cases. Also 2 10" hi- hat cymbals 1 marked Leedy. 12" special effects cymbal also marked Leedy. 12" thin crash/ ride cymbal. (unbranded) The set is excellent all around and is fully playable and tunes up nice with it having double tension on the snare and toms.
