BF-07: 1# 6 oz. Blue Cubic Fluorite Crystals, Bingham, NM, Fluorescent Mineral - $40 - (Alto, NM)

This beautiful specimen of pale blue-green cubic fluorite crystals in a yellow-tan matrix rock is from the famous Blanchard Mine near Bingham, Socorro County, New Mexico. Photos #1 & 2 were taken in bright sunlight, photos #3 & 4 with a bright light in our darkroom, and photo #5 shows the flat bottom of the specimen in daylight. (The actual blue-green color of the crystals proved impossible for us to capture with our camera.) Under long wave lamp the fluorite glows a gorgeous deep blue color (photos #6 & 7). The crystals also glow a dimmer blue in short wave (photo #8). Weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. & measures 4.875 x 2.5 x 2.0 inches. (#BF-07). Payment by PayPal required. Shipping by US Priority Mail.
