For sale is Carrier War: The War in the Pacific 1941-1945, plus the 1944-1946 Expansion Kit, by Omega Games. The game is unpunched, with all components in like new and excellent condition. The expansion kit is also unpunched and new. However, a few counters have fallen out of one of the expansion countersheet (see photo). The box is good and solid, with some corner wear around the edges. This is a cool looking wargame combo, very suitable for solitaire play. It is rare and long OOP. Bonus: Included is a copy of the Carrier War articles as published in the Moves magazine #64. Carrier War recreates military operations in the Pacific Theater from December 1941 to April 1944. Players have supreme command of the land, air and naval forces of either Imperial Japan or the United States and her allies. The scale of the game is strategic with operational overtones. The game is designed for two players, but can be played solitaire or by teams of gamers. The 1944-1946 Expansion allows players to complete the war. New rules expand upon those of Carrier War: the War in the Pacific 1941-1945 covering events which occurred late in war. The expansion also includes the British Pacific Fleets.
