Exquisite European Limestone Mantel Architectural Cherubs Flora Fauna - $4,499 - (Grass Lake, MI)

From our most recent salvage job, a lovely cast limestone mantle. With exquisite design of cherubs, flowers, leaves, beasts not only on the mantle, also on the supporting legs. Came from a mansion built in the early 1900's. During the 1920's they traveled to Europe, at the time it was fashionable for the wealthy to purchase rooms they were selling and have them shipped back to America. Overall size measures, 74-1/2" high, 77-1/2" wide. Mantle is 77-1/2" wide across the top, 68-1/2" wide at bottom, 18" deep and 16" high. Each supporting leg measures 8-5/8" wide and 58-1/2" high In great condition, when removing it there are slight cracks at front and top, and chips out of the edge, all are seen in the series of photos, needs restoration. Estimate of weight is 400-500 pounds, was moved on a dolly and will be sold with the dolly for ease of movement. Please write if you have questions.
