Family-owned tractor since it was new in 1968! Made by THE ERTL CO at Dyersville, IL, U.S. for FORD, and purchased by my grandmother's sister in 1968 for her children. It was passed down to me for my young child, and now we have no one left to pass it down to... Considering it is an outdoor toy, and its age, it is in exceptional mechanical condition. It's fully operational, chain-driven, and rides like a champ. The (steel?) body is intact. The paint has some wear, but more chipping than fading. Tires and wheels have dirt and wear as shown. Not sure if the original color? Looks like original paint; however, there are tiny paint chip areas of blue as shown in photos. My grandmother's sister could not recall if painted, but was leaning toward "no", which indicates original manufacturer's paint. Exceptional toy or collectible antique!
