The complete Red Flare outfit, all original and in excellent near mint condition! (The doll is not included.) This wonderful Barbie ensemble from 1962 was inspired by first lady Jackie Kennedy. The luxurious red velvet swing coat is smooth and luxurious, with with no wrinkles or any other flaws that I can see. The white satin lining is still quite quite. The red velvet purse with the rhinestone bead clasp, and the long white tricot gloves are also in excellent to near mint condition, as well as the red open toe heels and the pill box hat. The shoes are marked "JAPAN" on the bottom of one shoe (as it should be). I also include a vintage red Barbie hanger, and an original Barbie fashion booklet from 1962, featuring this outfit along with many others of that time. The booklet is also in excellent condition.
